Brazil Ministry of Justice moves to block 80 AI deepfake nude sites identified by SaferNet Brasil

SaferNet did the counting. The ministry is now doing the blocking.

The Brazilian Ministry of Justice requested the Federal Police and Data Protection Agency to investigate and block 80 websites using AI to generate deepfake nude images of women, citing severe violations of privacy and rights, especially affecting women, children, and adolescents. The sites were identified by SaferNet Brasil.
