Carlsen Verlag sues OpenAI, alleging ChatGPT reproduces the children's book 'Das NEINhorn'

The children's book about a unicorn that says no is suing the model that says yes to everything.

German publisher Carlsen Verlag, along with author Marc-Uwe Kling and illustrator Astrid Henn, has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI. They allege ChatGPT generates text and illustrations nearly identical to their copyrighted children's book "Das NEINhorn," including unauthorized print templates, violating their intellectual property rights.
