The Brazilian Superior Electoral Court (TSE) unanimously ordered the Liberal Party (PL) to remove an AI-generated video that falsely associated President Lula with organized crime. The video used synthetic imagery to simulate Lula in a prison setting, spreading disinformation and violating electoral laws. The court recognized the AI-generated content as gravely misleading and harmful.
