Flávio Bolsonaro's presidential campaign and the PL party paid US$600,000 to US cybersecurity firm Elytron, which marketed an AI system capable of manipulating elections through disinformation, deepfakes, and fake accounts. While payments were confirmed, there is no evidence the AI system was actually used in the election.
