Digital Sun Games canceled its public Steam playtest for ReVamp, limiting access to Discord, after generative AI tools like Claude Opus were used to clone games by reverse-engineering demos. This AI-driven cloning threatens intellectual property rights and harms indie developers' ability to launch and find audiences.
